During the pandemic, one of our founders was struggling with her mental health, and came across this poem by Hannah Dains on TikTok. This inspired her to start The Shampoo and Conditioner Project to help others who may be feeling the same way.

Sarah is co-founder and CEO of The Shampoo and Conditioner Project. With prior experience in the mental health field and a degree in Psychology, she was inspired to start the organization during the pandemic. Sarah has split her career between the non-profit sector and Major League Baseball, having worked for both the Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals.
Emi is co-founder of The Shampoo and Conditioner Project. She is also a 2020 Wheaton College (MA) graduate. She was inspired to help co-found the organization because mental health has always been a major part of her life.
Ally is the President of The Shampoo and Conditioner Project, and a 2019 Wheaton College (MA) graduate. She is also a current dual masters candidate at the College of Charleston. She was inspired to join the Shampoo and Conditioner Project team because she is passionate about mental health and hopes to help make a difference for those who are struggling with their mental health.
Kate is the CFO of the Shampoo and Conditioner Project. She graduated from Wheaton College with a BA in Political Science and Women's and Gender Studies in 2021. She is so thrilled to join the Shampoo and Conditioner Project and help provide some comfort to those struggling with their mental health!
Kymmie is a founding board member of our organization, inspired to contribute since its inception in 2020. With extensive experience in both the non-profit and for-profit world, she has been instrumental in shaping our fundraising, management, and communications strategies, and is passionate about ensuring our mission’s success and growth.
